It's tomorrow, and I think most of us are feeling quite emo. But let's try to stay positive :D Our batch will emerge more resilient from this, even though we will end up considerably smaller.I'm feeling emo myself but I guess emo-ing does no good. Let's just all be there for each other tomorrow, no matter what happens. This being a secular blog (I suppose), I can't say exactly what I want to say but the closest I can say is: May whatever happens tomorrow bring about the best outcome for our batch. So... It's peer evaluation tomorrow.Aka the advent of The Great Week of Emo. The last few days we'll have together as the same OASIS that survived YLTC'09 and slogged for YL Night'09 together, and everything else in between. From the physically and mentally draining MROCs, to the super hilarious stuff like Ms YL, we went through it all together. Even when the batch is forced to break up I hope we all remember that. As much as I'm sure everyone wants to remain as the 28-of-us Only a month, but we'll be friends forever :) (cheesy but it's true [we will make it so!]) Let's cherish the last 3 days we'll have together <3 Meanwhile, let's be truthful for peer evaluation and try not to rig it :/ Or else seniors will make us redo, which renders it pointless anyway. We can only trust the system to make us the best reduced batch we can be (did that make sense?)... >< After all, even if we try to be smart and rig it, we don't know what the results will end up like as a result of our rigging. It could be even worse. yl night was a success! i want to thank all of you OASIS! special mention to:raash, jerrold: impromptu emcees, you all were awesome! celene, caiyi, guenyik: for making jellyhearts! they were super yummy! sarah: for mixing the soundtrack for batch performance, paying for the rooms in advance, and fixing PA! the other recce people (Sarah, Suhuan, Celene, Caiyi, Jiaxi, Kenn, Jerrold, Daniel, Kwun Wa, Xin Yi): yays!:D loved the venue. guenyik and celene: for spray painting the glass mugs+the biscuit door gift+bibs! and if im not wrong u all also got the pinata. caiyi: for getting catering stuff fixed jingxi: for preparing miss YL item rayna: for helping me chase OASIS for baby photos and presenting with me! kwunwa and yongkai: for the pin-stuff-on-seniors item! very entertaining! LOL! kaiyun: for being our treasurer for the whole thingy. other ppl who stayed back to wrap souvenirs(sarah, rayna, caiyi, guenyik, celene, raash, daniel): thanks! the guys: for shifting the tables and blowing balloons the girls: for cutting polkadots etc other ppl from the 7-man unofficial main YL night comm group( caiyi, sarah, cheryl s, rayna, celene, jia xi ):to decide the main stuff each comm was supposed to do. and for all the YL Night comms! because even though we had comms, we ended up helping each other out:) shows our batch spirit! yays! apa: souvenirs cherokees: food shawnees: deco comanjos: programmes pawnees: invitations Rachel <3s OASIS! ps. remind me if i left out anyone. thanks! <35OASIS! @ 6:50 PM *points to the sidebar* I added more links to photo albums. Hihihi!:DAtlantis is over~ Congrats to 7KOLY for breaking the non-oac-group-winning-atlantis tradition :D Yayyy. Though my group didn't get to go airport, and had like a million detours (omg getting to the second station D:), it was fun :D And I'm sure we had lots of fun kicking water at each other at Vivo harhar. Not to mention the LEVEL 8 CHILI SOUP (or whatever it's called)!! XD More importantly, it's YL NIGHT TOMORROW!! Omg wait it's 00:05 already, meaning YL Night is LESS THAN 18 HOURS away!!! YL night is in 3 more days! jiayou ppl! so far i think if everyone does their part of the plan...then all we need to do now are:-batch performance proper practice (either after atlantis or meet a bit earlier on sunday.) -we need PA! (we can ask Mr Ling tmr) and atlantis in 2 days. in case you all dont know, i shall just post the details here. meet at 0800, west coast park, mcdonald's. wear anything comfortable (you all can just decide within your groups or wear anything you guys want i guess). As you all know, we gave out YL Night invites yesterday :) Despite the fact that some seniors were smart enough to dig out the invites without taking a single bite, or the fact that some invites fell right out of the cuffin (hole too big)... I guess it was okay. Haha. I don't think they were terribly yummy though D:Anyway, just to keep the blog a little more alive... Picturessss :D  Before baking!  Baking! This is a terrible newsflash report!When a bunch of OASIS people went back to school to practise batch performance, they spotted a horrible sight. Rachel: Eeee, there's something (a piece of paper stuck there) on the junior OAC bench! Maybe they finally declared it the "junior OAC bench"! *walks and takes a closer look* Rachel: "OHNO! *pause* I think it's because of us!" Suddenly the OASIS people crowds around the junior OAC bench. And sees a horrible, terrible sight.  Well it couldn't have been any more obvious that it was directed at us. And now we can't do it, even if we shift it back. Gone are the days of OASIS breakfast in junior OAC bench.BUT! Don't lose hope! We shall kope the canteen bench nearest to junior OAC bench!:D And it shall be called junior OAC bench 2! Anyways, we're doing invitations on Monday mornings (stuffing the letters into the cuffins) so try and come as early as possible (and we can all go buy the fruit tree bottle together) to help! If I'm not wrong Kai Yun will come at 6 to help kope the whole stretch of bench. And remember to hand in your Atlantis forms by tuesday! :D Hope you guys enjoyed kayaking today! (: Rachel!
