Go check your mailbox if you were an Assistant Instructor for Bike Hike! (Daniel says everyone who participated got but I doubt it)PAssion Card benefits ^^^^ Chiefs bring us somewhere soon so we can flash the very nice shiny black card and get discounts! :D Please also bring along said very nice shiny black card on 4th July for inline skating. We can get discounted prices. Oh and we'll be doing free-and-easy instead of proper lessons, because that's what most of you want (meaning everyone except Yongkai haha), and because it's cheaper :) More details soon! Sorry for the spam, but I just have to post this here.so here be guenyik's blood, sweat and tears (not to mention sleep debt, eyebags and more recently, eyerings): Accendo '09 ♥ this is our website and facebook group (: www.accendo09.com http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=63674607575&ref=ts so anywaaayyy, We are a team of students from Anglo-Chinese Junior College, Hwa Chong Institution (College Section), Nanyang Girls' High School, National Junior College, Raffles Institution (Junior College), Raffles Institution (Secondary), River Valley High School and Victoria Junior College. Our project, entitled Accendo, is Greek for “illuminate” and is in aid of the Student Advisory Centre (SAC) which provides a myriad of services and programmes for underprivileged youth and children. The Lunch Box Fund is the Centre’s cash gift to primary and secondary school students from poor and needy families, which sponsors the children for an entire academic year. With this, the Centre intends to contribute S$143,000 to the community in year 2009, to approximately 500 deserving students. The Centre hopes to empower youths from disadvantaged family backgrounds such that they may gain self-dependency. Accendo '09 aims to: I Raise $50,000 for the SAC II Promote awareness of the SAC, and in particular, the beneficiaries of the Lunch Box Fund, to at least 200,000 students and members of the public III Inspire other youths to rise up to the challenge and aid the community To aid the SAC in its fund raising efforts, Accendo will be conducting 19 streets sales sessions to raise funds for our cause. In short, we’ll be holding a series of street sales and would like to enlist your help as volunteers! Details regarding the dates and timings of the sales are as follows:
Volunteers will assemble at Atrium@Orchard, Thereafter, they will be dispatched to different locations to begin street sales and return to the meeting point by the end of their shift. Volunteers may sign up for multiple sessions on different dates. Please include details as follows: a) Name b) NRIC/FIN c) Age d) Gender e) Class f) School g) Mobile phone number h) Email address i) The session which they would like to sign up for More information will be disseminated to the volunteers after their names have been confirmed. CIP hours will be awarded to participating students accordingly. Also, regular commitment for our street sales can be recorded under the Service component of the National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA). Everyone makes a difference! man this holiday sucks.we should all go mug sundance at home because going to school to mug...kind of failed. dance i/cs yongkai and xinyi! :DD maybe after blocks or something. because i kind of know no one will be mugging sundance at home. but rockclimbing was fun! :D but i dont know if there's gonna be any more any time soon. but since only like 12 juniors turned up... we should have another one somewhen for the other half-1! but i think its more fun if we ship everyone to do height elements yesyes? :) well at least from what i asked you all last GM you all liked height elements more than rockclimbing so... but now we mug be sian and mug for blocks and do homework. who wants to mug in school with me because i am totally unproductive at home grahhhh. ohkay i shall not be lame and so byebye(: Rachel!(: ps. when's our next pt session? and eeeeer how come our blog only kept alive by the same few people? First of all, it's ACI'S BIRTHDAY TODAY!HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUENYIK!!! Secondly, Facebook hates me and refuses to let me upload pictures... Not to mention the Guenyik/Junxian-vs-Durian and Guenyik-does-not-know-how-to-use-a-knife videos... So anyway here are some pictures from Landex! :D  Our huge bag of chips that cost us $40! Hey everyone!Look! HCUNITE has a report up on BIKEHIKE! XD Can you find yourself in any of the pictures? Recognise pictures you took (I recognise 2-3 of mine lol)? Visualise the roads/street directory in your head as the roads are named and described in the report? XD And lol? Prata shop opened 24 hours thanks to Bike Hike XD Btw I think that panoramic shot of Bravo/Beta (can recognise Daniel and LQ on the right!) is damn cool haha. Ubin today :D Mini bike hike! Woohoo~ Oh yeah, try and keep 4th July free. The Saturday after blocks. Hey OASIS!(:There'll be a combined senior-junior rockclimbing session this coming monday! Date: 8 June 2009 Time: 3.30pm-6.30pm Venue: Climber's Laboratory (where 34th went for ITC and where 35th went for YLTC) Price: $15 per person! Please bring more if you guys are planning batch dinner or something (we can have combined batch dinner if you guys want. But I dunno how 50 people are gonna crash any eating place o.o): (STJ!!! we make seniors treat us lol okay just joking) Wear: Any HC tees+track pants! (NO FBTs or shorts!) Bring: -water bottle( about one litre? unless you think 500ml can last you then go ahead) -set of clothes and towel (optional: if you want to change after climbing) -yourself! (: IMPORTANT! Please download the indemnity form from the email i sent you all, get parental consent and bring it on monday! Note that you will NOT be allowed to climb if you don't bring the signed indemnity form with parental consent if you are under 18! Remember to meet in school at 9am on monday! And mug sun dance! :) Yup and PLEASEPLEASE remember the indemnity form and money when you come okay or you'll have to go back home because they will NOT allow you to climb. Thanks! Bike hike is over :(But it was fun, yes? :D Thanks to all the seniors for planning it and everything. And so now, pictureees! Okay still uploading (so slow gah), but here are a few of the uploaded ones... Okay scrap that. I dunno when the rest can be uploaded, because now photobucket keeps crashing both my mozilla and safari :( 173 out of 205 uploaded already though. 32 to go.  Route mugging!
